Service descriptions

Good Shepherd has three Sunday worship services. While we don't encourage 'worship consumerism'(what's best for me?), these descriptions may help you decide the setting in which your whole being is most receptive to all the Lord has for you.

8.45 am

A softer contemporary service led by one of our bands, occasionally including some of the timeless hymns, sometimes led by the organ. While intergenerational, it will also cater to families with children 0 - 5. Creche is available for 0-2, and Kindy Church for 3-5 year olds. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month.

10.30am

Seeking to connect with and minister to people of all ages, this service utilises a variety of contemporary Christian music led by one of our bands, and slightly longer times of praise and worship led by lay worship leaders. Creche is available for 0-2, and Children's Ministry for 3-12 year olds. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month.

6:00pm

Whilst not a youth service, the music style is often for the young and young at heart. There is an air of informality yet sacredness in this service. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month.
