Growing in the Word
Significant relationships cannot be microwaved, nor can one find meaning and fulfilment via the short cut route.
Jesus is the way, Jesus is the truth and Jesus is the life so the Good Book says. In short, a relationship with Jesus is the beginning and end of anything that is worthwhile. So it follows that to grow in our relationship with Jesus, is to grow in life. To regularly immerse yourself in the Word, is to spend time with Jesus Himself.
Good Shepherd offers this tool of a growth Journal which is simply a way of encouraging and leading individuals in their own personal quite time with Jesus. There is a copy for children and also a sermon series entitled 'strength to grow' as a way of encouraging and equipping you for this daily growth.
Prayer Partners and Triplets
Good Shepherd has a strong culture of 2-3 people walking with each other in regular part support. We see this as vital in spiritual growth of every individual. Prayer partners and triplets meet on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. If you would like to know more, or are seeking a prayer partner Click Here to visit our Prayer Ministry page.
To establish or grow a partnership like this, download strength to grow and you can also accompany the message with a helpful outline and resource
Small Groups
In conjunction with your personal walk with Jesus, it is vital that you are connected in with a community of faith. Small Groups is one of the most effective communities in both spiritually growing and in blessing others. Click Here to visit our Small Groups page.
